As an Associate Python Engineer, you will begin your journey with a guided training phase focused on the Frappe Framework and real-world open-source projects. This role is structured to help you gradually evolve from a learner into a production-ready software engineer.

The probation period focuses on learning, open-source contributions, and shadowing experienced engineers. As your understanding deepens, you’ll collaborate on internal and client-facing projects while gaining exposure to architectural decisions, security considerations, and scalable system design.

AI-based coding assistance is allowed, but with a strong emphasis on human understanding—you must be able to explain your code, logic, and design choices clearly.

Your responsibilities will evolve over time based on your learning speed and performance:

Month 1

• Learn the Frappe Framework under structured guidance

• Understand framework architecture, conventions, and best practices

Months 2–3

• Contribute to open-source Frappe-based projects

• Work on real-world repositories and submit meaningful pull requests

• Learn collaborative development using Git and code reviews

Months 4–6

• Collaborate with senior engineers on internal and client-facing projects

• Apply principles of security, scalability, and maintainability

• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Throughout the role, you will:

• Write clean, understandable Python code

• Clearly explain every line of code and its logic
