🎯 About the Role
As a Data Science Analyst, you will join Shell’s Commercial Data Science (CDS) team within the Digital Process Twin (DPT) portfolio. The team works closely with business units to deliver data-driven insights by analyzing process event data and building analytical models that improve efficiency and decision-making.
This is an early-career role, designed for candidates with 0–2 years of experience, where you will work alongside experienced data scientists, engineers, and process analysts. You will gain exposure to process mining, analytics, visualization, and data pipelines, while contributing to Shell’s Digital Process Twin Centre of Excellence, a recognized leader in process intelligence and analytics innovation.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to multiple stages of the data science and analytics lifecycle, including:

Supporting data preparation, cleansing, and transformation of process event data

Assisting with exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies

Creating visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly Dash

Collaborating with data scientists to design features and metrics for process performance models
