🎯 About the Role

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be part of a specialized QA team that evaluates products and technologies within Akamai’s Edge Technology Platform & Products Engineering group. Your primary focus will be building and maintaining automation infrastructure that ensures Akamai’s delivery platforms operate at world-class levels of performance, reliability, and scalability.

This role goes beyond traditional testing. You will work closely with developers and other QA engineers to validate complex systems by recreating real-world usage scenarios across distributed environments. Over time, you will develop deep expertise in system-wide automation and verification for platforms that support global OTT events and high-traffic digital services.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to system-level test plans to ensure strong test coverage and automation effectiveness

• Designing, developing, and deploying automated system tests that reflect real-world scenarios
