The Analyst position is based in Hyderabad, India, operating in a hybrid model that blends flexibility with in-person collaboration. You will play a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, internal control compliance, and smooth reconciliation processes within the organization.

As an Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Receiving teams, Audit teams, and Global Process Owners (GPOs). 🛠 Key Responsibilities

1. Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Perform daily GR-IR account reconciliations using SAP and Blackline.

  • Review and resolve aged items by working closely with relevant internal teams.

  • Maintain detailed documentation to support internal controls and audit trails.

2. Audit Support

  • Serve as the focal point for internal and external audit requirements.

  • Provide necessary reports, clarifications, schedules, and policy insights.

  • Ensure reconciliation files meet compliance expectations and accounting standards.

3. Financial Analysis & Controls

  • Review reconciliations within Blackline, monitor account trends, and conduct fluctuation analyses.

  • Track and update process metrics to support transparency and compliance adherence.

4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Work with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Receiving teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Participate in monthly meetings with GPOs to implement business rules and policy updates.

  • Support statutory and financial filings to ensure alignment with US GAAP and local accounting principles.

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Propose practical solutions to reduce process complexity and improve operational efficiency.

  • Contribute ideas that support continuous improvement initiatives within the GBS function.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant: CA, CMA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) reconciliation or technical accounting.

  • Hands-on exposure to SAP FICO, Blackline, and reconciliation management.

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic macros.

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and accounting principles.

  • Solid understanding of reconciliation processes, internal controls, and compliance.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication—both verbal and written.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex information.

  • Proactive approach, willingness to learn, and ability to handle peak workloads.

  • Team-oriented and capable of collaborating across multiple stakeholders.
