🔎 About the Role

As a Data Science Analyst in Shell’s Digital Process Twin (DPT) Centre of Excellence, you will support Shell’s global process transformation initiatives by analyzing event logs, building process intelligence models, and generating actionable insights.

You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and process performance across Shell’s operations.

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

Data Preparation & Analysis

• Support data cleaning, transformation, and preparation of process event logs.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and bottlenecks.

• Work with multiple enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow to integrate and analyze process data.

Process Mining & Modeling

• Assist in process-mining initiatives using Celonis EMS, SAP Signavio, or PM4Py.

• Prepare and structure data for process simulations and performance dashboards.

• Contribute to feature engineering and analytical modeling under guidance from senior data scientists.

Visualization & Reporting

• Build dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash, or Matplotlib.

• Communicate insights clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Operational Support

• Participate in data pipeline development, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Support documentation, test scenarios, and validation of analytics deliverables.

AI/ML & Responsible AI Exposure

• Learn concepts of Explainable AI (XAI) and Responsible AI frameworks used across Shell.

Required Qualifications
