🎯 About the Role: Associate – Data Analyst

As an Associate – Data Analyst, you will be positioned at the intersection of business strategy and data technology. Your primary responsibility is to streamline data operations, ensure data integrity, drive analytical initiatives, and support the US BBU teams with actionable insights. The role requires frequent collaboration with Commercial, Medical, and IT teams while maintaining a user-centric and agile approach to building data products.

With 3–6 years of experience, this role is ideal for professionals who can handle complex datasets, troubleshoot operational challenges, and influence business decisions with well-structured insights.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Support US BBU data management operations including data quality management, workflow oversight, and downstream application needs.

  • Conduct thorough operational triaging, troubleshooting data issues, and resolving user queries related to processing and analytics.

  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ad-hoc data investigations to support business decisions.

  • Act as a bridge between Commercial/Medical stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring smooth issue escalation and resolution.

  • Manage user roles, platform access, and updates across systems like Sharp.

  • Build detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements for data product development.

  • Promote a user-centric design philosophy, ensuring data tools and dashboards are intuitive and effective.

  • Participate in planning and executing agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery of new features and improvements.

  • Deliver crisp, insight-driven presentations of independent analyses with clear business implications.

  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking while working closely with Commercial Leadership teams.

  • Utilize expertise across domains such as HCP segmentation, targeting, campaign measurement, Xponant data, sales data, formulary insights, and more.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, PowerApps, SQL, Python, Databricks, and AWS S3 operations.

  • Deep understanding of data governance, compliance standards, and operational best practices.

  • 3–6 years of experience in data management, business support, or analytics-driven environments.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to prepare structured documentation, define business requirements, and contribute to agile development cycles.

  • Exposure to at least seven key commercial/medical datasets such as ELAAD, APLD, HCP segmentation, Alignment, Digital Promotion measurement, and others.

  • (Preferred) Experience working with AZ brand/science, multiple external data providers, and internal systems like Sharp.
