This role focuses on developing embedded automotive software, integrating communication protocols, ensuring ASPICE-compliant development, and working with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-reliability embedded solutions for production vehicles.

Freshers and early-career engineers passionate about embedded systems, automotive software, and RTOS-based development will thrive in this role.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

🔹 Embedded Software Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications.

  • Work with RTOS, microcontroller architectures, and real-time embedded environments.

  • Implement and integrate AUTOSAR-based software modules.

🔹 Automotive Communication Protocols

  • Work with industry-standard protocols such as:

    • CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet

  • Use tools like Vector CANalyzer / CANoe to analyze, debug, and verify communication behavior.

🔹 Product Development & Compliance

  • Integrate software development activities into the automotive lifecycle.

  • Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR, ASPICE, and automotive-grade safety standards.

  • Conduct static analysis, code reviews, and quality assurance checks.

🔹 Requirements & Documentation

  • Manage requirements using IBM DOORS, ensuring full traceability.

  • Prepare design documents, test cases, validation reports, and release documentation.

🔹 Collaboration & Tools

  • Use tools like:

    • Git, Gerrit, JIRA (version control & project management)

  • Work closely with hardware, systems, validation, and quality teams.

  • Participate in architecture discussions, reviews, and sprint planning.

🧠 What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (ECE/EEE/CSE/Embedded Systems or similar)

  • 0–2 years experience (Freshers encouraged to apply)

  • Strong understanding of Embedded C, microcontrollers, and RTOS concepts

  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN/LIN)

  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR and embedded software lifecycle

  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tools like:

    • CANalyzer / CANoe

    • Git, Gerrit, DOORS, JIRA

  • Understanding of ASPICE and V-model development

  • Knowledge of static analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace, QAC)

  • Exposure to automotive ECUs, sensors, controllers, or vehicle diagnostics
