🎯 About the Role – Cyber Security Analyst

As a Cyber Security Analyst at CloudSEK, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating digital threats using the company’s SVigil platform. You will identify vulnerabilities, assess risk impact, and provide actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

This role requires technical expertise, analytical thinking, and client-facing skills to solve cybersecurity problems of varying complexity. You will act as a focal point for incident resolution and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate analysis.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

1. Threat Analysis & Incident Management

• Analyze all security incidents flagged by SVigil

• Interpret scan results and assess severity and potential impact on clients and vendors

• Generate detailed reports highlighting vulnerabilities, risks, and remediation strategies

2. Client Interaction & Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers regarding security incidents

• Assist customers with issues, ensuring successful delivery of solutions

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction

3. Operational Excellence & Reporting

• Maintain logs, documentation, and metrics for internal and client reporting

• Support workflow documentation and process improvement initiatives

• Provide monthly/quarterly updates to stakeholders on key initiatives

4. Research & Threat Intelligence

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in vendor risk management

• Conduct secondary research and competitive intelligence to support decision-making

5. Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work independently and with cross-functional teams to resolve complex security issues

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reporting standards, and process optimization

🧠 Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and risk assessment

• Intermediate knowledge of networking, protocols, and web application security (OWASP Top 10)

• Experience with penetration testing methodologies

• Familiarity with AI/ML-based security tools is a plus

Professional Skills:

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning

• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
