🎯 About the Role – Analytics Associate (Data & Analytics)

As an Analytics Associate, you will play a critical role in transforming business problems into actionable insights. This role requires strong analytical thinking, data interpretation skills, and the ability to work across systems, teams, and business lines.

You will support reporting, forecasting, research, payments operations, and analytical problem-solving for high-impact initiatives across the bank. The role blends data analytics, business understanding, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

As an Analytics Associate at Wells Fargo, you will:

1. Perform Data Research & Low-Complexity Analysis

• Translate business issues into well-structured analytical problems

• Gather, interpret, and analyze data to create meaningful insights

2. Develop Custom & Standard Reporting Tools

🧠 Required Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ months of analytics experience OR equivalent through education, training, internships, or military experience.

Technical Skills

• Strong analytical capability with experience using:

  • Spreadsheets (Excel)

  • Databases

  • SQL (experience with complex queries is an advantage)

  • Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/visualization tools

• Understanding of international payments, banking systems, and SWIFT formats (MT103, MT202, etc.) is a plus

• Familiarity with SWIFT gpi is beneficial

• Ability to work in high-paced, deadline-driven environments
