💼 About the Role
As an Analyst, Data Operations, you’ll work within TransUnion’s Global Delivery and UK Delivery teams to support data build cycles, ETL processes, reporting, and technical operations. You will help ensure smooth data transfers, maintain process quality, collaborate with engineering teams, and identify ways to improve efficiency through automation.
This role requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing
Data & Technical Operations Support

Support specialist areas within the Technical Operations team.

Execute monthly ETL and data build cycles for product updates.

Load, query, and export large datasets using SQL and R.

Collaborate with software and database development teams to improve application quality.
-
Assist with product changes, new releases, and internal initiatives.
-
Present data analysis findings to stakeholders.
-
Set up secure data transfers using Globalscape EFT and Connect Direct.
-
Become a subject matter expert on TransUnion’s data transfer workflows.

Troubleshoot daily incidents and queries related to data operations.
Quality & Risk Management
-
Conduct quality assurance checks on completed work.
-
Contribute actively to reducing operational risks.
-
Resolve queries independently and efficiently.
-
Follow documented processes and review them annually.
Process Improvement
-
Identify opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancement.
-
Drive automation and process re-engineering initiatives.
-
Support transformation projects that streamline operations.
🧠 What They’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Ability to write and understand SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Experience working with large datasets.

Skilled in reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI.

Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Ability to plan and organize work independently.

Experience in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
Desirable Skills

PowerShell scripting.
