💼 About the Role – Analyst, Systems Risk & Controls

The Systems Risk & Controls team supports Global Finance Technology, BI & Innovation, working closely with Finance Technology, Internal Controls, and Cyber Risk teams. This role ensures adherence to SOX standards and Flutter governance frameworks, balancing first- and second-line controls responsibilities.

As an Analyst, you’ll help facilitate IT controls assurance, audits, remediation, and transformation initiatives. You will work across multiple workstreams to ensure systems comply with internal policies and international standards like ISO27001.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Support Finance Technology teams with controls evidence generation and adherence to internal controls.

• Perform controls assurance for Finance Systems through routine system reviews.

• Assist Senior Analysts with audit preparation, evidence collection, and reporting.

• Drive adherence to SOX standards, ITGCs (IT General Controls), and governance requirements.

• Identify gaps, suggest improvements, and support IT controls transformation projects.

• Collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of control activities.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in Internal Controls, IT audit, or SOX compliance.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of ITGCs, risk management, and audit frameworks.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
