The Data Governance / BI Analyst plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and governance of core data across Optimas’ systems. Reporting to the Data Governance Team, the analyst ensures that accurate information flows through the organization, enabling effective purchasing, stocking, and selling of parts.
The role involves validating data, entering approved information into multiple systems, identifying data issues, supporting ad-hoc analytics requests, and improving data processes. This position also follows UK working hours, supporting global operations.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing
Data Governance & BI Operations

Review submitted data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company policies.

Load accurate data elements into various Optimas systems.

Perform follow-ups to ensure timely closure of requests.

Identify red flags in data sets and escalate issues when needed.

Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders across departments.

Understand company workflows to validate data requests.

Support business users with ad-hoc data and analytics requests.
Data Quality & Insights

Write SQL scripts to identify poor-quality data and collaborate with teams to correct issues.

Improve data quality and availability for analysis.
