💼 About the Role

As an Associate Project Engineer I, you will handle key technical elements of project delivery for customers using AspenTech’s DGM solutions. This role involves system design, planning, integration, testing, and commissioning of both hardware and software components. You will serve as a vital bridge between customer requirements and real-world implementation.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Understand project requirements through discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware/software systems based on customer specifications.

  • Provide design support for networking and system/application architectures.

  • Install, configure, and integrate SCADA, HMI, and related systems.

  • Perform factory acceptance testing and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Create project documentation and assist in preparing customer training materials.

  • Monitor and track project activities, reporting any technical challenges.

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth and high-quality project delivery.

🧠 What They’re Looking For

  • Experience: 0–2 years working with SCADA systems for utilities.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in:

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Electrical & Electronics Engineering

    • Electronics & Communication Engineering

  • Technical Skills:

    • Understanding of SCADA systems, RTU integration (IEC104 / IEC101 / DNP3 protocols).

    • Knowledge of ICCP protocol between control centers.

    • Experience with SCADA software configuration and RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

    • Understanding of ODBC, report generation, networking, operating systems, and computer architecture.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects without compromising quality.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%).
