🔍 About the Role

As a Software Engineer in the Tax Transformation Office, you’ll develop next-generation technology that supports U.S. tax engagement operations. You will work directly with onshore and offshore teams, contributing to application development, enhancement, and modernization initiatives aligned with Deloitte’s transformation strategy.

This is a hands-on, full-stack development role involving .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, Microservices, and Azure.

🧩 What You Will Be Doing

• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis.

• Write clean, scalable, high-quality code using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications and services.

• Revise, refactor, debug, and optimize existing codebases.

• Ensure projects meet functional scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Use version control, development tools, and testing frameworks.

• Work in Agile/SCRUM environment and participate in daily standups.

• Maintain strong collaboration between U.S. and India teams.

• Work occasional staggered shifts (2 PM–11 PM) during key development phases.

• Ensure low bug rates and high-quality release cycles through best coding practices.
