🎯 About the Role
The Associate – QA & Test Engineering plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Standard Chartered’s retail banking and digital systems. You will design, develop, execute, and manage automated/manual test strategies across RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and web/mobile applications.
The role requires strong hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, performance testing tools, CI/CD systems, test lifecycle processes, and Agile methodologies. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and QA teams to enhance product quality and support high-precision releases.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution

Use tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI for structured API test execution.

Create test plans, scripts, scenarios, and detailed test reports.
Automation & Performance Testing

Automate API and functional test scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD).

Conduct performance testing using JMeter, analyzing metrics and bottlenecks.

Validate authentication, authorization, encryption, and API security controls.
Collaboration & Review

Work with developers, business analysts, and QA peers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Participate in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
