💼 About the Role

The App Dev Engineer II – Java, ATG role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, specifically dealing with e-commerce platforms (like ATG). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable software, integrate with complex systems, and ensure high performance and reliability.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop Java/J2EE applications using frameworks and e-commerce platforms like ATG. foundit+1

• Work with Spring, Quarkus, or other Java frameworks for core business logic. foundit

• Integrate with RDBMS such as Oracle Database 19c and Microsoft SQL Server, including strong PL/SQL usage. foundit

• Build or maintain web front-ends using HTML, JS / jQuery, CSS, and possibly React / Node.js. foundit

• Work with application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, or Apache Tomcat. foundit

• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services. foundit

• Use GitHub for version control and collaborate with peers on code. foundit

• Manage applications deployed on Linux servers. foundit

• Contribute to performance monitoring using APM tools. foundit

• (Optional / Preferred) Work on cloud-related infrastructure (Azure), IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation), or reverse proxy / WAF technologies (NGINX, F5, etc.). foundit+1
